關(guān)閉熱水器電源。
Turn off the power to the water heater.

關(guān)閉水源，打開附近的熱水水龍頭，以降低熱水器內(nèi)膽壓力。
Shut off the water supply and open a nearby hot water faucet to depressurize the water tank.

從內(nèi)膽內(nèi)排出大約5加侖的水。（參閱“排水與沖洗”，了解正確的操作方法。）關(guān)閉排污閥。
Drain approximately 5 gallons of water from the tank.(Refer to “Draining and Flushing” for proper procedures.) Close drain valve.

拆卸舊的陽極棒。
Remove old anode rod.

在螺紋上采用聚四氟乙烯密封帶或通過認(rèn)證的管道密封材料，安裝新的陽極棒。
Use Teflon? tape or approved pipe sealant on threads and install new anode rod.

打開水源，打開附近的熱水水龍頭，排出水系統(tǒng)內(nèi)的空氣。
Turn on water supply and open nearby hot water faucet to purge air from water system.

按照“熱水器的操作”的有關(guān)說明重新啟動熱水器。請參閱說明書中的“維修配件說明”中有關(guān)陽極棒的內(nèi)容。
Restart the water heater as directed under“Operating Your Water Heater.”
